Advanced Heating & Air has been a trusted provider of HVAC services in Ada, Oklahoma for over three decades. Our Ada institution was started by Randy Floyd, a local firefighter, in 1994. What began as simple service calls quickly grew into something bigger—built on craftsmanship, consistency, and genuine care for the community.

As one of Ada's original HVAC companies, we thought you'd like to know a little bit more about our past. Advanced Heating & Air has a rich history, and we remember the days when a family rejoiced at the installation of a single window air conditioning unit. We were there at the start, and we've been here ever since.

Randy Floyd was born and raised in Ada, and he always had a knack for all things mechanical. As a local firefighter, he understood the importance of being there when people needed help most. Frustrated with the lack of reliable HVAC service in the area, Randy decided to strike out on his own. In 1994, he opened Advanced Heating & Air, built around his expertise and dedication to customer service.

As Randy prepared for retirement, he mentored his top technician—Ronnie Davis, an Army veteran who had been with the company since 1997—to carry the business forward. In 2013, Ronnie and his wife Nicole stepped into leadership and continued growing the company with the same commitment to integrity, excellence, and hometown service. Under their leadership, Advanced Heating & Air became known throughout Ada for reliable service and genuine care for the community.

In 2026, Ronnie and Nicole passed the torch to Lee Stauss, another Army veteran, dedicated to honoring the company's legacy while continuing to expand opportunity in the Ada area through dependable service and local job creation. The transition was seamless, built on shared values of hard work, faith, patriotism, and doing the right thing.

Today, while much of our business is performed repairing or upgrading existing homes, we still work with premium home builders to provide custom solutions, and have extensive experience designing systems for custom homes, production builders, and existing property extensions. We are so happy to be a longstanding company where the emphasis is on the customer and not the corporation. At Advanced Heating & Air, we are a family, and our goal is to make our customers completely happy with our HVAC and energy efficient improvement services. We've been around for over 30 years, and we hope we can continue to be your go-to heating and air company for the next 30 years.
